Class assembly is an activity that brings together students with different expertise to work together on a common goal, keeping health as the top priority Year 9D came up with ideas of having a role play to reach the audience on diabetes, followed by emphasising on the importance of prevention and an awareness chat on diabetes. Students were keen and enthusiastic while conveying the message on ways of preventing diabetes and early detection as well as awareness that would help students to be alert if they or their friends or family were ever to be diagnosed with diabetes. The role play was well executed with a very humorous blend but a real serious approach to the topic. Overall the assembly was a success with almost all of the class participating with great enthusiasm and sincerity. Thanks to Ms. Seena for ensuring that we all rehearsed our parts well for smooth execution of the assembly.
